CLEAN DESIGN MADE SIMPLE
As a multi-discipline firm, we are able to incorporate the expertise of both architectural design and structural engineering into each design project. This integration allows for an expedited design process, allowing us to attune each project to individual client needs. This streamlined process equips each of our clients with complete transparency and engineered efficiency when navigating through each phase of the build, allowing us to get you into your bespoke slice of architecture sooner.
HOW WE WORK
SOFT STORY
RETROFITS
As a San Francisco based Architecture firm, we are dedicated to ensuring all soft story buildings meet the mandatory retrofit requirements led by the Earthquake Safety Implementation Program and enforced by the Department of Building Inspection. By addressing the structural deficiencies in soft story projects, we can help secure the future of San Francisco's unique urban footprint for generations to come.
Let us help safeguard your family, home, and/or business against the next quake.
ACCESSORY DWELLING
UNITS
Accessory Dwelling Units, or ADU's, are units added to existing residential buildings.
They're also known as secondary units, in-law units, cottages, or granny flats. Nationwide, cities have been adopting ADU programs into their local laws to allow under utilized spaces to be converted to new homes.
When combined with the Soft Story Retrofit program, ADU's provide the perfect opportunity to not only relieve the local housing crisis, but to get a return on your seismic retrofit investment.
FEATURED PROJECTS
Located in the heart of Noe Valley, the remodel of the Chattanooga family residence delicately merges beautiful historic architecture with innovative and contemporary design. By reimagining the architectural potential of the building envelope, aspects such as structure, function and aesthetics was able to ensure a home that was safe and reflected the needs of the client. Producing a result that not only facilitated the creation of intelligent spaces, but a secure investment for the future.
