Scott street, San Francisco

This building is a multi-family complex located at the southwest corner of Alamo Square.  With four floors sheltering 15 family dwelling units and a solitary single-car detached garage, the property, when evaluated by our architecture and engineering team, identified several viable opportunities to explore the installation of several additional units. 

 

By maximizing the efficiency of interior spaces, both within and outside the building envelope, it was determined that 3 additional accessory dwelling units could help infill the various  underutilized spaces within the structure.  A venture that could increase the potential rental economy of this building without invasive expansion or redevelopment efforts.
