The 16th Avenue project explores the potential of a multi-family residence to diversify the catalog of units that are provided within a singular building envelope.

 

The underutilized spaces located throughout the ground floor of this 1912 historic duplex, is being converted to accommodate two 1 bedroom/1 bathroom ADU's.  Further more, with a slight set back to preserve the building's classic Architectural facade, an additional roof top ADU will help to create a discrete third floor. 

 

Once a two family duplex, this multi-family residence will now be able to house three more affordable units to the surrounding Lake Street neighborhood.
